grounded spresso bars opened in nov 2006, this is when i started making coffee, since then i've taught myself tru the net and some help from my coffee roaster.
grounded offers any exchange baristas to be involved in a cafe which prides itself on excellent coffee and a superior atmosphere, with live music, dj sets, story tellers, anythin really

    just reading through your site, and you mention some interesting things...! you mention an interest in a barista exchange, and also live music, something I have been working towards at the shop where I work, being in a band myself, I put on an acoustic night once a week :)

    hi! new york is a great city, but i do not know much about the "coffee culture" here... i just make coffee. i could tell you the great cafes though, all have websites i believe. gimme coffee, cafe grumpy, 9th st espresso, everyman espresso, el beit. yeah, that's about all the help i could be so far, i'm still new to new york myself.

    things going well, been flat out with coffee video magazine things, Got the job for shooting the WBC and then came back and went to Indiana to a coffee school and to do some filming for a Latte Art DVD with Chris DeFerio. Glad to be home.

    Well Graham, flat out going nowhere!!
    One month past with the first Krem@Queen's at the Titanic Dock and tomorrow is the handover of the Café at the PFC in the main Queens Building on the university road. All going well but i'm wrecked. How's the Boucher road deal going ? are you trading yet? I'll have to get down and see it when you are open.
