    Hi Laura,

Which location do you work at? I have a friend who lives in Ottawa and he said there is a Bridgeport around the corner from him.

    Hi Laura,
First off - congrats on your victory at the Eastern Regional Championships! I'm very new to the coffee culture but was in Montreal doing a course from Canadian Barista Academy and heard you were taking part....I was very excited to hear that someone from Ottawa won the title! Good luck at the Canadian Championships.
Yes, I'm setting up a children friendly shop in Ottawa that will also be focussed on quality - I have two little ones and hate having to sacrifice good coffee just because I have kids! Any tips/advice for a beginner are always appreciated! Keep in touch!

Hola Laura! How's life in Ottawa?
  • Nicely

Things are good overall. I'm considering a move to L.A. which could be life changing but, I'm humbled by the opportunity out there. How about you?
  • Damian

8 bar. Holy shit. Thats about the same pressure in a tyre for a truck. Yeah I think tech repair is good but am very involved with the Barista community as well. Am actually in the middle of refurbishing an old CMA lever arm machine. Should take some pictures and share them. Have you ever been to visit cold, wet, dark Ireland.
  • Damian

Yeah Stephen is a really nice guy alright. Have spent many drunken hours arguing with him about coffee machines. Was talking to him last week actually - he was over your side of the world. DM
