If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
yes
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I jumped right in to the specialty coffee industry in Portland, my first machine being the Synesso 2 group Cyncra. While I still have plenty to learn, I feel that my first year or so as a barista has seen my knowledge and skill advance immensely. I most recently worked on a La Marzocco GB/5 at Method in Atlanta, Georgia, which was slightly different, but overall a smooth transition. I currently work with the delightful folks at Coffeehouse NW in Portland, OR.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Anywhere people appreciate the magic of coffee, from farming to cupping.
About Me:
I am a 24 year old something or other. Spent 5+ years pretending to be an academic, but that was mostly bullshit. Food and coffee are now the interests I most want to pursue.
About My Company:
Not mine. I am a part of something greater than myself. No, it's not about Jesus or Allah. It's about a delightful drink in the best atmosphere possible.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
Loving what I do and bringing newbies into the fold of specialty coffee.
I don't know, dude.... i miss the good ol' Yeah Yeah Yeahs days, right before and around Fever to Tell. I saw them right when Fever to Tell came out, and it was one of the best shows. Karen O. was so bad ass.
But i definitely love that EP i'm rocking in the photo.
