Well I started at Starbucks when I was 18. It was a good introduction, but soon I found that I wanted to do more than push buttons all day and listen to people try to speak Italian. So from there I went to a coffee shop that served Portland Roasting Co. I loved Portland roast, I got many good training sessions there from Shea. Unfortantly business got slow so I moved on to Mon Ami, a crepe and Stump Town server in Downtown Vancouver. Now that I had a taste from my trainings at Portland Roasting Co. I wanted to get started again, but this never came through because I left to Pullman Washington for College. There I work at Cafe Moro, pretty routine. I moved out to attend Evergreen when I missed the green coast. In Olympia Wa I got hired at a little place called Artisans who later went under. Then I came back to Portland for the summer ad got hired at K&F coffee, another local roaster. I still work there, and I also did some work this fall at Mud Bay Coffee, a small roaster in Olympia. M
