I work at a place called Two Story coffeeshop in Athens, Ga. We just recently opened on November 1st, 2008. Since that time we've been doing very well, considering the struggling economy. We get all of our coffee from a local roaster in Athens called 1000 Faces. We specialize in manual pour-overs as well as french pressing coffee. All of our drinks are made by
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I'd love to travel to Portland one day, aswell as Seattle. I'd also love to travel all over Europe, Italy and Ireland especially.
About Me:
I'm 19 years old, soon to be 20 and had just started working in coffee when Two Story opened. My parents actually decided to open Two Story as an effort to reach out to the Athens community and build friendships and relations while serving and creating great coffee. When we opened we never imagined we would become nearly as popular as we are with the locals as well as UGA students.
About My Company:
Two Story offers a different environment than any coffeeshop in Athens. We do each cup of coffee individualy and by hand; whether it be a manual pour-over or a cappuccino. We have no big brewing machines. Our shop is rather large compared to others in the area (it actually is two stories).
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
Nice job, get some pics up of your work so far. Best way to improve is to look at your pics, find what part of the design you would like different then find out how to fix that.
My problem was too many leaf strokes which pressed it up and didnt leave my rosetta defined, so I slowed my pour down.
any questions just give me a shout.
