I haven't seen you in forever, what the heck?!
  • Tim Styles

    Hey Ed.

You still at Grumpy? Coming back to see you guys in the middle of Feb.
  • Liz Clayton

Did not properly say hi and welcome back to you as I am homeless and need to do things like take boring meetings with insurance agents in cafes, rather than just hang out. Next time I promise you I will be just hanging out wasting time and I will say hi, welcome back, and "How the hell was Panama?" !
  • Tim Styles

Heartbreaker?! We just got to taste some of that here in London. Looking forward to necking a bit in NYC though, dude. See you in Feb.

I wish I could hear about your travels in person. Your excitement is so contagious!
  • Jeff Givens

Small world, huh? We really enjoyed Grumpy in Chelsea and were very impressed by everyone's friendliness, knowledge, and level of service. As busy as the shop appeared to me, it surprised me when you said how packed it can be during a real rush.

    The Los Lajones was excellent!
  • m'lissa owens

Are you competing?! If you are, I'm so going to Ithaca!
  • Jason Atwood

I'm coming up to NYC for some vacation this weekend. I'd like to come by the shop and say Hi. M'lissa may have already told you.

  • Ray Hencken

Hey Ed, my wife and I were at Grumpy earlier today on our Manhattan spro crawl - excellent espresso & cappuccino, beautiful tulip - great job! We loved the shop and were very impressed.
  • Ray Hencken

Mas Cafe is located in Emmaus, PA (near Allentown) - about 1.5 hrs away from NYC. You had a pretty steady stream of people when we were in, so I didn't want to bother you. But, next time we head up to NYC I'll let you know and maybe we can talk coffee a bit. Again, great job - and, thanks, now I want a Synesso.
  • James McCarthy

Thanks for stopping into the Press the other day! You mentioned that you're selling your Rock Out shirts...where can I get one?! I think we may have met at Grumpy last spring, actually, when I was in NYC. I had a long conversation with someone, anyway, about my thoughts of relocating from Maine to somewhere else...

    Keep on rocking that macch!
  • Anthony

Thanks for the link! Liam was too incapacitated unfortunately. Ah well. I guess I'll have to make a pilgrimage to NYC.

  • Benjamin H Wilkinson

Ed! Blue State Coffee is the name of the company. If you take anything from that, we are a politically, socially and environmentally motivated company donating a percentage of sales to progressive causes voted on by our customers. It's exciting. Matter of fact, there was something I could ask you about gear... I'll send a message.
  • Matthew

Hey Ed. Hit me up when your in Seattle. I work at Trabant Coffee and Chai downtown and I could show you around some good stuff(coffee, food, beer, stuff, ect). That would totally rule.
  • Alex Negranza

Hahaha, I just replied to your blog and then I stumbled across my co-worker, Matt's reply. Matt and I can definitely show you some great coffee. Definitely recommend the two of us, we're ridiculous together.
