Hi Cindy, You may already know about my venture. I`m starting to recruit world-class trainers & baristas to train the local baristas at the american coffee growing countries.
The idea is to cover the expenses (air ticket+hotel+food) for a 3 day trip (at least) with sponsor support. The venture will start by February 2009, if you`re able to donate a couple of days of your time, to promote the barista profession, please let me know, and I`ll send you the schedule. Best regards, Federico Cabrera
Hello Cindy, this is Henry from Ramacafe Nicaragua I would like to be your friend in this network...I see Andi Trindle there as your friend , she knows me well, we are producers of great coffee in Nicaragua and certified Coffee's UTZ, Rain Forest, CAFE practices TOO..just Joined yesterday because a friend Jonina from Island is here in Nicaragua and we just chose the new Nicaraguan Cahmp to come and compete in Denmark...His name is LUIS LOPEZ alias Luis Cappuccino...
Thanks for bringing James and Annette to the Jam, and thanks so much for stopping by Spruce St. I don't think they fully understand the magnitude of you guys coming by, but they will in time.
It is nice to know your long history in coffee industry in US. If you like, I would know something which you know about the coffee industry in US.
As I knew, the espresso drinks had been remained in Italy and few of other countries in south Europe. Also from the book of Schults of *$s, I learnt that no body in US believed that he can be succeeded in selling espresso drinks in US, in 1980s. So, the history of espresso related industry was started from him, around the end of 1980s. Is that true?
Maybe few of people knew and interested in espresso drinks, earlier than that, but the most people, I suppose, know and learnt about espresso after that time.
im just sad that i didnt compete and this year so i can see you all...so probably till london???? big hug from past and future croatian barista champions
