Hi Cindy, You may already know about my venture. I`m starting to recruit world-class trainers & baristas to train the local baristas at the american coffee growing countries.
The idea is to cover the expenses (air ticket+hotel+food) for a 3 day trip (at least) with sponsor support. The venture will start by February 2009, if you`re able to donate a couple of days of your time, to promote the barista profession, please let me know, and I`ll send you the schedule. Best regards, Federico Cabrera

It is nice to know your long history in coffee industry in US. If you like, I would know something which you know about the coffee industry in US.

As I knew, the espresso drinks had been remained in Italy and few of other countries in south Europe. Also from the book of Schults of *$s, I learnt that no body in US believed that he can be succeeded in selling espresso drinks in US, in 1980s. So, the history of espresso related industry was started from him, around the end of 1980s. Is that true?

Maybe few of people knew and interested in espresso drinks, earlier than that, but the most people, I suppose, know and learnt about espresso after that time.

If anything wrong, please correct me, please.

    Best regards
