Are the fish designs in the coffee your creations?
Hi Bruno,
Regionals were a lot of fun and very much a adrenaline rush. I wasn't going for points so I made a double cappuccino with a natural Ethiopian from roasted by Stumptown in Portland, Oregon. I am very much a purist when it comes to coffee. Competitions get harder every year and it seems that more and more people are getting more serious. 2nd and 9th in regionals and finals is still a remarkable feat and you should be proud of it. Just keep making good coffee everyday is what is important.

Hi Bruno, congrats on your 9th place in Brazil! I only made it to 12th in the UK this year so I'm hoping to make a big improvement next year. I really need to work on my sig drink.

Hey there Bruno. Thanks for the comments. Congratulations on your involvement and enthusiasm in the coffee world. I used to compete in the late 90's (the first person in Canada to do so). Then I was a judge and now I just coach my employees and encourage them to compete. I find that my time is better spent now helping foster passion in employees and other people that to do it my self. Keep me posted on how your competitions go. I will be anxious to hear.
Cheers,
Sam
