Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.

I love being a barista, talking about coffee, learning about the industry, teaching, and helping people wake up when the morning is so hard..or the rest of the day.
I have competed in NERBC and Millrock, but it always feels so much better to get back home and make coffee for my customers and my community.
While being a barista and trainer for Gimme! Coffee I began apprenticing to tattoo.
To keep my two favorite things in my life I have opened my own cafe that shares a space with Model Citizen Tattoo.

What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?

I dream of trips to origin...El Salvador and Guatemala are first on the list. We'll see when I can take time away from The Shop!

Own and work at The Shop Cafe
Tattoo artist at Model Citizen Tattoo, all custom work, no flash. I will draw (almost) anything.
Bike-only for 11 years now, I love working on bikes and riding. I'm a casual downtown style and road biking kinda gal. Mountain biking has yet to romance me..competitive BMX riding isn't my thing either...
I also have a great dog named Sampson, he's 10! He works on bikes too...and break dances.

About My Company:

The Shop has bee open for over a year now and getting better and better. Our focus is coffee, espresso and tea made to order with skill and care, using quality products that agree with our standards of sustainability and fairness.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?

How easy it is to turn someone into a "coffee snob" mwa ha-ha!
