drinking good coffee since 2005, occasionally getting paid to do so since 2007
If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
yes
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I won't let you exchange away any of the baristas I like, but if anyone wanted to send my favorite ones to NYC from Toronto, Chicago, DC or elsewhere, who am I to stand in the way of their doing so? [Note: this all happened after I wrote this blurb.]
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Probably about time to go to a coffee-producing nation besides the USA, eh?
About Me:
Freelance photographer and writer, specializing in the coffee industry when I can. If some girl has obnoxiously shoved her camera lens into the crook of your steam wand lately...it was probably me.
About My Company:
See twitchy.org for infrequent bursts.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
Me going to SCAA sort of depends on how important it is to actually pay rent for may. Some day I'll find a way to actually make money through coffee... but not this day! (...probably see in you in MSP.)
gladly, I mean, everyone in this town is doing it......and um....you didn't tip us???....was it because I displayed an arrogant nature to a gentlemen who wanted his espresso to go?
Devastated to learn of your Doughnut Plant misfortune . Better days loom ahead with Valronha Chocolate , Vanilla Bean and Coconut Cream Custard . The fresh Strawberry was not F*** ing around either .
Mostly Maligned Doughnut ion the horizon . Disenfranchised doughnut lovers unite !
Unraveling plans for return to beloved New York .

Chocolate guanache - vanilla custard infused bombolini served up at this morning's Slow Foods Nation curators ... Inspirational . Serious doughnut game indeed !

Hi liz. I was wondering if you got any photos during my performance on sunday? It was good to see you again. Your support within the barista community is awesome. :)
Thanks dude. Sucks that we couldn't hang out more. I ended up leaving pretty early on Sunday. I was having a coffee overload...physically and mentally.
Next time you're in Chicago give me a yell, and we'll go for drinks.
I'm not on facebook. My friend wanted me on there so bad that he just started a page for me. I have no clue what's on there and don't even know the pw. Srsly. I'm in pdx now, straight chillin.

Hello, Clayton.
Hope your ubertrip around the world in search of tasty coffee treats has been going well. There is a slight chance we might be running into one another in Hotlanta... more to come....
liz... verve... looks neat. But i feel like the training at bareooft would be more in depth... maybe not... but i wanna learn as much as possible, so i'll go wherever that is.
because, i want to visit nyc but cant afford the accomodation. and i was like, hell i know someone who loves coffee, and can show me all the best spots.. RIGHT IN NEW YORK.
Hey you, I'll be working Thursday till 11:30 am at West Lynn. Then it's hard core training time for the USBC that night, around 10ish at Guadalupe. In the middle, I'll be hanging with my daughter, Amarynth.
