I just had a chemex dude, I'm not buying much coffee these days, I just got a big (to me) shipment of green that I'm trying to get to roasting while the weather is at least somewhat acceptable. I will def. be back up soon though, potentially even this week. But once summer rolls around, I'll be there much more often, fo sho.

there is NOTHING equal to our love for michigan. for us, personally, it was either give up coffee or move. there was simply no where for us to go. the opportunity arose & we took it by the balls. & since, things have been incredible. this place has hit our coffee sweet tooth. a super-legit small batch roasting gang with the passion for the cup, & concern for quality. we love it it here :} but we'll always miss the mitten ! please, please come viissittttt.

I'm doing well... Yeah new job, work at a local coffee shop in downtown Kalamazoo. I had some people come in the coffee shop that are from GR and say good things about Madcap, the word is spreading around. That's great for you guys!! Well yeah I am going to have to stop in one of this days to get a macchiato with a tulip on top. Well maybe not for a while because my car broke down, but hopefully soon. If you are ever in the area you should defiantly stop by the coffee shop, the name is something’s brewing. Well good to hear that things are going well for you and hope it keeps going well. The Kenya AA Kirinyaga was tantalizing... sweet berry notes mashed with a syrupy body and some great depth. And the Guatemala Santa Avelina was also really pleasing... floral and molasses on the nose and the epitome of a very well balanced cup. Both very sexy coffees. Well done sir... kudos MadCap crew.
