Nashville, TN
How many years have you been in the industry?
3 years
If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
yes
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I work at two local coffee shops in Nashville, TN. They are on two different sides of town, and they both have very different atmospheres. One taught me latte art and really stresses making a quality beverage and practicing the art. The other coffee shop encourages excellent customer service along with a quality beverage. I feel that combined, I have become a well rounded barista. Before these two places, I worked at Starbucks, which is in a league all its own, and makes me want to cry.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
anywhere....literally....and physically. anywhere.
About Me:
i grew up on the east coast of south florida. i'm a beach girl at heart, but moved to landlocked nashville to pursue a degree in entrepreneurship. i discovered my passion for coffee while in college, and dream of opening my own coffee shop one day. i love the outdoors, reading, music, photography, and art. favorite drink ever is black coffee, followed closely by cafe con leche, cuban, and a double latte.

Hey, Bing, thanks for the contact. Really, that's what I need the most. I'm trying to do this for charity, a little. I keep trying to convince myself to put that aspect on the back burner and just enjoy the ride as soon as it gets underway. Which is probably what will happen. Anyway, I digress.

What I really need is some cool baristas to hang out with in each town I visit- more than a couch to crash on, even- which, by the way, is REALLY nice of you to offer. I'm going very "far out" in this trip's practical measures. I plan to do a lot of camping in both urban and rural areas and to basically make a spiritual journey out of this trip as much as anything.

All this to say, I am certainly going to come to Nashville and when I do, we should hang out. You can show me your shops and we can throw down and talk coffee.
