If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
yes
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
worked at restaurants forever and didn't know why my lattes were terrible. Got a job at Flipnotics Ship of Caffeine here in Austin, and improved by leaps & bounds. Once my partner and I started Hallowed Grounds, we got barista training from Cuvee Coffee Roasters and learned a LOT more, so now I'm working on consistency & latte art.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
virtually anywhere in Latin America & Indonesia
About Me:
I'm a former actress turned entrepreneur. A native New Yorker and frequent visitor to Los Angeles, I moved to Austin TX in the summer of 2007 - fyi summer is a really stupid time to move to Texas! I met Lucy (business partner - she's the lady in the picture with me!) when we were both taking Kung Fu. I play a mean game of pool and I am a pretty sharp dancer, but clumsy in real life. Go figure.
About My Company:
Hallowed Grounds is an espresso catering company serving weddings and corporate events in the greater Austin area. We use top-of-the-line everything from our GS3 La Marzocco to specialty coffee roasted by the inimitable Cuvee Coffee out of Spicewood, TX. We set up at any location and voila you have a top tier cafe where once there was nothing.
