I am a barista-in-training who is a reformed tea-only lover. I have come to appreciate the subtleties of coffee thanks to my friends (and now co-workers) at the Shaky Tree. I learn more about coffee every day and my palate is constantly surprised by the many varied flavors and textures coffee is capable of forming. I am a student...I am here to learn. (By the way, I still love tea!)
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
All countries European. China, Japan, Russia, anyplace in South America, Egypt. Okay, basically, anyplace in the world.

I like black forest cherry two-bite tarts. They go really well with a machiatto.

The Shaky Tree is all about creating a space where not only do we serve great coffee, but we invite people to make it a space for creativity and community. It has become a bit of an artistic hub here in Spencer and will hopefully continue to grow into a creative cornerstone.

If you like the black forest give this recipe a try:
1 shot espresso
20ml cherry syrup (da vinci gourmet is my favorite)
1 tbsp dark chocolate combine with 120ml milk and throw it in the above ingridients.
Garnish with whipped cream and sauce chocolate.
