I've been working in a local cafe as a barista for about a year and recently My wife and i were given the opportunity to manage a non profit cafe on a university. This past year i have severely been getting into the fun, art and passion of coffee. It's seriously fanatical. I'm sure you can relate. I pine for training knowledge, history and all that encompasses the commodity. It is a delicious expression of my art. I desire understanding over all, for skill, passion and excellence will pour from that.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Asia, (have been there, but would love to go back) Washington, north California, Oregon, Australia, New Zealand...among others.

I love coffee, play and write music, love the arts in general. Like to bike as well as skateboard. Love having a wife(got married two months ago!!)
About My Company:
"Kona coffee and tea Co." is a product of capitalism on tourism, like most 'coffee shops' in Kona. However, We have community here and a heart. It's family owned and operated and all the coffee grown is ours as well as the processing and roasting. We acquired an awesome manager that was involved with barefoot coffee in Cal., so expansion in the quality and passion of especially our espresso has grown rapidly over the past 6 months.
Both cafe's are definitely striving for coffee excellence and trying to set the standard in Hawaii for specialty coffee, seeing as the cafe/coffee culture in Hawaii is severely lacking.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
It a science far from exact, encouraging elaboration in all aspects of itself.
