Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
We are a roast n' deliver outfit based in the Woodstock Industrial Centre. We only serve coffee drinks to customers who buy come in to buy beans. My barista skills were honed through training from Klaus Thomsen and the Origin Barista School.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Ethiopia, Kenya, Panama, Brazil, and Guatemala
About Me:
I am a freelance journalist who specialises in lifestyle journalism. My exposure to the world of specialty coffee came through repeated assignments to write on players and developments within the South African Industry. Having seen the community at work, I knew I wanted more than to simply watch from the sidelines. I apprenticed at Switch Roastery in Somerset West, attended Barista training from World champ baristas, and travelled the country seeking advice and tips from roasteries around the country.
About My Company:
In Cape Town the artistic community loves its coffee, and it's about time coffee loved art right back. We are a roastery that seeks to partner with local artists, support their endeavours, and share our works of art with them – the beans we roast!
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The endless search for that perfect bean that tastes every bit as incredible as it smells.
