A good employee of course! I have one barista going back to school full time, one just quit and one just had a death in the family. I have different shifts available. They are weekdays at 6am (ouch!), weekends at 7am and closing shifts 4pm -9pm ish. You could always shadow someone for an hour or two to see if you like the work:)
