Hey Arron, thanks for the response. I actually know a good many toll roasters and was more asking to further classify Bird Rock on my end of things ... always good to be the connector between people and companies :-)

    Cheers,

    Chase.

Wow, you are close! InFlux in Little Italy…hmmm. I'll have to check it out. Good to know about The Neighborhood too!

One of these days I hope I'm able to be in SD on a Friday so I can pop in on a cupping at Bird Rock. Unfortunately, Thur/Fri are usually the days I'm roasting and doing stuff for Red Rover Coffee (my biz) so it's rare I'm not home then.

I'm actually in Seattle right now and am heading to the Victrola roastery for their public cupping and might do the daily one at Stumptown on 12th this afternoon.

Next time I'm at Bird Rock I'll ask if you're there. I haven't had a chance to try BR's Geisha yet (I never quite hit the timing right!), but I have had the Limmu a couple of times.

So what was the deal with Java Jones? I was going to stop in once but didn't have the time, and the next time I went by it was closed.

Hope you're doing well! More soon!

    Hey Arron

Noticed in your August post that you have a Yama 25 cup cold brewer. We just bought one - any advice about grind, water:coffee ratios, weighing or not weighing water?

    Thanks
