Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I work in the high volume hours at LatteLand. I'm very capable of making high quality drinks quickly. I put latte art on nearly every drink I serve. I'm passionate about serving quality drinks that aren't compromised.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I like traveling in general. I don't even need to fly. Road trips are quite fun. Any city or country that has a coffee shop with fresh beans and decent equipment is good for me. I'd like passion to be there too, but if it's not, maybe I can instill some passion in them.
About Me:
I'm a 22 year old full time barista. I've liked coffee since I was a child, and started drinking it black in adolescence. I consider myself a reasonably intelligent person. I'm athletic. I'm a brown belt in tae kwon do. I like to ride my bicycle as much as possible. I also play guitar and sing. Most importantly however. I'm a Christian. I'm FAR from perfect, but I strive to be more like Christ every day.
About My Company:
LatteLand Espresso and Tea LLC started in 1992 in Kansas City, MO in the Country Club Plaza. Since then It has expanded to 5 stores total. My store (79th and Stateline Rd, Prairie Village, KS) is the 3rd LatteLand and the highest volume and possibly most profitable LatteLand store. LatteLand is partner with Kaldi's Coffee Company out of St. Louis. They supply our coffee beans and machinery. LatteLand is a great place for a barista to work. Great atmosphere and good baristas.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The community. Wow! What a community of people.
