South America (to origin), Africa (to origin), anywhere else (to origin), Visit James Hoffman's shop in England, European coffeehouses (where revolutions were born), and anywhere else that might feed my coffee passion.
About Me:
I am passionately in love Jesus Christ first. Then, secondly, coffee. Biloya, Geisha and Misty Valley are my favourites. For espressos, I like Counter Culture's Tuscano and Intelli's Black Cat. I competed in the Canadian Nationals on three months of training. I look back at my scores and remember the shots and it makes my want to cry. Now, my housemate and I travel the countryside (in and out of the country), seeking the best coffeehouses there are, meeting the "passionantes" in the industry, and I am constantly challenged to become a better Barista. I would love to open up my own coffeehouse, visit origin, visit every coffeehouse on every continent that brags its best (and make my own opinion of it), write about everything that I come in contact with along my coffeehouse path, and become a better Barista.
About My Company:
One Red Chair Coffeehouse in located 45 minutes north of Toronto, and is the best coffeehouse north of Toronto. The name was inspired by a egg-shaped, almost-captain-evil-look-a-like red chair, bought at a garage sale. We brew Novo direct-trade coffee, and are in the process of creating our own signature espresso blend called "Fat Monkey". We work off, of what we call "Mr. Linea", a La Marzocoo. Mike, my manager, is not only passionate about coffee, but spills the same passion into anyone he meets. He is contagiously addicted to coffee and is the pinnacle of a coffee geek. My coworkers, Vanessa, Ben, Jennifer, and Krista are inspiring to become better baristas, and dangerously spend their spare time at the coffeehouse.

Missy, is that you? Did you stop at a closed down coffee shop in downtown Philadelphia? I waited for you ladies at the other place as long as I could. Sorry you got lost. BTW, still haven't hooked up the espresso machine at Spruce Street, so they are still closed up.
