- My husband Tom and I opened Zia's - an Italian Caffe` and Gelato Bar in historic downtown Placerville, CA - off highway 50 to South Lake Tahoe. We serve amazing traditional Italian roasted coffee from Caffe` D'Arte, and make our own gelato on site - fresh daily. We are Italian to the core, and take pride in sourcing as much as we possibly can locally, from quality, artisan sources.
- What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
- Italy primarily, but anywhere! My Dad's parents are from Marche (Ascoli Piceno) and Molise/Abruzzo (Isernia region).
- About Me:
- My Dad is of Italian heritage, and I lived in Italy from 1984 - 1988 (Vicenza nel Veneto). I speak/read/write Italian! I majored in music and love art too. I have always had a love for tradional Italian culture, including a love for food, wine, family, art and of course, traditional Italian espresso! I sing in an Italian folk singing group, and love jazz too!
