If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
yes
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I've only been a professionally trained barista for a little under a year. I started out working as a barista in an organic food co-op in a college town in northern Idaho, however when I moved to Olympia I got a job working for Batdorf & Bronson Coffee Roasters. I have a fairly extensive knowledge of organic and fair trade methods and coffees (from working at the co-op). I've only competed in one throw-down and I took fourth place, which isn't bad for a newcomer. I'm still working on consistently pouring latte art, however, I'm extremely consistent with my shots and milk textures. I'm very enthusiastic about making good coffee and want to experience other places that are interested in the same.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
New York, NY
Chicago, IL
San Francisco, CA
Boston, MA
Santa Fe, NM
