If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
maybe
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
All of them!
About Me:
My partner and I opened a small roastery in October 2007 and well, we had no idea how fun and busy it would be. I love coffee and while I haven't worked in a shop for money, I've been the local at the neighborhood shop for years. When the owner needed another set of hands I'd step in! So, when this opportunity came up I jumped at it.
I'm super interested in sustainability and global issues. Coulee Coffee has provided an opportunity for me to sell and drink high-quality coffee while still making sure we are being socially responsible.
The business has been a blessing to us in more than one way!
About My Company:
We opened in October 2007 and have a 10 kilo roaster. Trevor roasts about 2 nights a week and I run around looking all important! We just hired someone to help him package and learn to roast recently. Both Trevor and I have full-time jobs outside of the company so the extra help has been wonderful.
We are currently in a few coffee shops around town and also in three grocery stores, some specialty shops have also asked to carry our product. We're trying to figure out which one of us is going to have to quit our day job as this whole thing is taking off quicker than we had ever imagined! I have to admit, Trevor is really good at the art of coffee roasting. Ssshhh...you never heard me say that!
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The sense of community, the passion, the language!
