You're up island then?
I'm in Sooke.
The group doesn't do much but if you want to chat with anyone we have a lot of experience and all that. We range from baristas to roasters and cafe owners...
If you're ever in Sooke drop by The Stick in the Mud. It's my place.
What beans are you wanting? I can probably sell green beans from my inventory in small quantities (up to 100 lbs or so).
I usually stock indos, east africans, south and central americans - not everything but a good sampling. I order about every 6 weeks and I get a pretty broad selection to build espresso and also for our single origins.
Prices are currently between $3 and $6 wholesale in US$. Then there's freight and customs brokerage fees. That adds another 50¢/lb.
Normally, coffee sacks are about 70kg from brokers.
