Profile Information:

What is your position in the coffee industry?
barista, manager, barista trainer, coffee enthusiast, industry professional
Where are you located? ( City and Country )
Long Beach
How many years have you been in the industry?
6 years
If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
yes
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I have been working for It's A Grind Coffee House, born and raised in Long Beach CA for 6 years this coming April. In the past six years I have gone from your average day to day barista to a store manager and then corporate trainer for IAG (It's A Grind). I have learned a great deal from our previous Quality Assurance Director- Toby Foreman- who is unfortunately no longer with our company, however I have the utmost respect for him- his passion for EVERY aspect of the coffee industry and his plethera of knowledge. He has taught me a great deal and I would not be the barista I am today without him.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I have been to Italy (on my honeymoon with my husband), however I did not have near enough time there to truely appreciate and develop a respect for the industry that was born there. I can tell you though that I had the best d#@$ cappuccino that you will ever consume there!

Hey Casha- I'm a friend of Toby Foremans too. I couldn't believe when I heard the news that he wasn't with IAG anymore- that is a big loss for them. He's definitely one of the classiest, most knowledgeable people in our industry! I ran into him a couple of weeks ago at Coffee Fest DC- he looked good and seemed happy
