About Me:
I created a new cocktail, the Whynatte, which involves dropping a shot of Jagermeister into a hot latte, and then pounding the entire thing. Sort of the same template as an Irish car bomb.
It's hard to know how these things happen, but somehow my cocktail is now served by name at bars around the country, especially here in Atlanta. The Whynatte has been featured in Creative Loafing Magazine, The Sunday Paper, and Rolling Stone Magazine. Rolling Stone called it the "new alcoholic energy drink of choice." Needless to say, not how I envisioned myself making the pages of Rolling Stone Magazine. The Whynatte is featured on Jagermeister's official website (www.jager.com) under recipes. Additionally, the Whynatte web site (www.whynatte.com) receives daily submissions from people who send photos of themselves drinking Whynattes, and the photos are posted on the site with humorous commentary. I recently "invested" in a decent espresso machine, so I'm doing what I can to break this steed. I'm cranking out some decent shots, but would enjoy some tips from the professional baristas out there. Also, would love to turn some of you on to the Whynatte, as I'm sure that you would make some incredibly delicious cocktails.
Aside from that, I live in Atlanta, and enjoy long walks on the beach.

What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
OK...SCAA...Specialty Coffee Association of America. It's a once a year, intense meetings, shared knowledge, great mixing in Minneapolis this year...great news...ATL next year! I would love to chat with you sometime....I have plans to be atl in July for the retail show at the America's Mart...anyway...your drink sounds absolutely fabulous!
