- Definitely - Ethiopia. Here in Hawaii, we cannot import green bean coffee from Africa due to the Coffee Berry Disease (CBD). Another would be Panama or Indonesia. Any major Coffee Producing country i guess.
- About Me:
- I have been in the coffee industry for about 6 years. I have worked in many cafes in Honolulu as a Barista, Head Supervisor, Trainer and Head Roaster.
- About My Company:
- I have had so much fun wearing so many hats and finally had a chance to open a cafe here in Hawaii. The name of the cafe is "Downtown Coffee" and we have been open for about a month. I roast on a Diedrich IR-3 and do small batches to serve incredibly fresh coffee for drip and espresso.
- What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
- The people out there who are as fanatical about coffee as I am.
