If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
no
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I worked for two years at a shop in Carbondale, IL during film school, and currently I am in the process of making a documentary about the barista culture and competitions.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Anywhere to make this film a reality
About Me:
Currently, I live in Denver where I freelance in television and film, and was recently inspired to shoot a documentary about baristas. I shot 11 hours at the MRBC last weekend, and plan on traveling to the remaining regionals and national competition in MN this May to continue shooting this film. Write me if you would like to help see this film become a reality, spread the word, and perhaps I'll see you at one of the regionals this month.
About My Company:
I'm a filmmaker. Plain and simple. This film needs funding beyond my own pockets, so any potential help or funding from third parties is welcome.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
It has always been the people and the passion within the culture of baristas I know
Wow! What a great filmmaking idea! This is the kind of thing that will make new enthusiasts and, of course, draw existing geeks. I am an adjudicator in the Anchorage Film Festival, and this one would be a great submission! Here's the link:
