Hey, Eldon........ Alvin here. Well, having a legal title would be a prerequisite for you selling your buddy's car. Tell your friend that my offer still stands....... even if, site unseen, I'm really being overly generous! (smile) My last "older car" was my '49 DeSoto. I actually posted it in my photo section on my page here in the site. When I finished my Southeast Asia tour in mid '69 as an AF combat photo guy, I was stationed, for my last couple months of active duty, in Vegas! I found a metal sun shade at a local junk yard for install above the windshields..... just like the one in your photo. Sadly, when I was broke-on-my-ass after getting out of the service, and living in a boarding house, I sold the DeSoto for $75..... the cost of the registration! Two weeks later I inherited some money, which made the sale unnecessary. (poor timing) (hindsight is always 20-20, right), Obviously, I have never been able to forget that "humungous error in timing!" Oh well.
