If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
yes
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
Learning on the internet mostly. I have a Decent XL1 and a Jura Giga X7 Pro, one is a new take on computer assisted brewing while the other is a superautomatic for a hotel or commercial complimentary setting. Or you could say one is totally hands on while the other one just pushes a button and places the cup below the spout. Both produce great coffee, the edge to Decent, but the Jura is oh so convenient. After all it was the internet that led me to you. One site to another as I was researching “off gassing” freshly roasted beans and the best methods to preserve them. I’m finding it so tiring that the commercialization of everything gets into the way of finding the correct answer. What I mean is that everybody is trying to sell “something! “ I’m finding it gets in the way of researching some thing or procedure or process.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
France, Italy, Germany, Brazil
About Me:
Retired but alive and vital. Started researching coffee brewing as a hobby, then fell down the rabbit hole. It’s fun and interesting. An easy conversation starter as most everyone worth talking to enjoys good coffee! 😄
About My Company:
Maybe, but probably not. I’m at that age in life where if I were to put my interests & skills to work it just may stop being fun. I’m lucky my financial needs can let me explore and enjoy it like a hobby. But the too, Decent Espresso sells the equipment and signage for setting up your own pop up espresso cart…. It would be a quick & easy way to interface with people & share our enjoyment of really good coffee!
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The sensory effect of walking up to a coffee bar and drawing in the delicious aroma of the last brew wafting through the air!
