yes
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I was trained by Counter Culture Coffee representatives in Atlanta and am currently a barista in a high volume shop in a college town. I am rewriting the company training manual and have successfully petitioned for a greener shop (organic beans, compostable cups, etc.).
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I go where I am called.
About Me:
I dropped out of college for rather pretentious/socially conscious reasons. I made a commitment after my break with academia to work at things that promote justice. In my work as a barista, I seek to pull the best shot while keeping in mind the people it took to make that 25 second process possible.
About My Company:
Cambridge Coffee was a corporate endeavor by the daughter of a rather well known Nascar driver.

YO! Welcome aboard. How are things at Cambridge? Any progress convinving the big "R" to raise the quality bar a bit?

Baby steps, right? I'm glad to hear that he's at least "going organic" for fashion reasons. Maybe the trends will continue.

As for the cuppings...great. This morning was our Washed Idido Misty Valley, Kenya Gaturiri, and a new crop Aceh Gayo Sumatra Decaf. Fun times. Ya'll are always welcome to drop in when you have time! If I know you're coming (and you get stuck in traffic) I'd even be happy to set up another flight for the latercomers.

Also, if ya'll are ever in town on a Thursday night and willing to put $5 on the line, Octane's "Thursday Night Throwdowns" are in full swing. One shot, one pour, one winner. Latte art fun for all to see.

    :)
