Hello there Anette!

I'm a barista in Canada, and I want to go somewhere new and learn more. I'm leaving for somewhere, anywhere in November, wherever will take me.. I've got a few options over on this side of the atlantic... but I'm curious about life on the other side... any potential for an immigrant to get a place with square mile?

Just had that Los Luchadores - should have read the notes on the description first, as I had to throw away a few shots before I figured out how fine to grind for it. However, very interesting... not entirely sure how I fell about it yet, but interesting notes on a solid background. I like the subtle sweetness and the acidity, but more than anything else it is reminding me of some of the scents I have picked up in woodworking shops. There is a (pleasant) bark-like and earthy note to the 'spro. Cheers. Diarmuid

Hi Anette. Just received a package from Square Mile; loving the Spring Espresso. Just about to delve into Los Luchadores... Istanbul suddenly does not seem so far from the rest of the coffee world. Thanks for the beans. - Diarmuid

~I decided after christmas that i had to opportunity to compete as i just started working with Fan Zwang who was 2nd to Stephen last yr. so a week before the comp I got a wk off work to train. I think It paid off a little as I made it to the finals, and was second in the semi finals.. but on the day my espresso was bad, extraction too short and my grind was off. The most intense 30mins I've ever experienced. great learning process though... I guess I'll try again next year, and work towards it alot sooner.
