I'm 21 years old, fairly new to the industry but prepared to learn. I live in Kortrijk, Belgium. In my country coffee's not that common so i'm trying to make it my "mission" to get excellent coffee in as many places as possible

RB is a good choice. I'm currently using the C-flat base, and I totally dig it. You can't go wrong with a US convex, though.
