Thanks for the posting on Suplicy cafes in the Coffee Shops forum. I recently was in Sao Paulo and went to the Lorena one off Paulista after seeing your posting. Truly one of the best caps I have ever had. A gret shop with a great atmosphere. Espresso done the way it should be.

Hey Ed...yes DO it all. NZ is certainly a caffeinated country from the cities to the smallest towns. Will be back there myself in February. Merry Xmas you and best for 2009!

Edson.......what's the best time and phone number to call you? I also sent two invitations to growers in Sul de Minas, and am waiting to hear from them, but believe that you know them? You can email me directly to my Earthlink account.

Aloha Ed,
Sorry for the late reply- life got out of hand! In any case, yes, if you can recommend farms between you and Campinas, that would be great. I'm certainly willing to accept contact info, too. :-) I'm also eager to know of any good cafes in either of these cities.

I suggest writing me via email if you think it will be easier: coffeaconsulting@gmail.com

Thanks!
Shawn

Hey Ed,

I'm traveling to Campinas in September for a coffee science conference but want to see some farms and play a tourist for a bit.

Do you think you can help a bit?

Thanks,
Shawn
