4 1/2
If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
maybe
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I work in a shop called Everyday Joes. we are a nonprofit coffee house with all proceeds going to local charities and all baristas being volunteers. we believe in building community and loving people and making good coffee at the same time. we are currently brewing Novo Coffee after switching from intelligentsia last june.

as for myself I have done training with Intelli in LA and have toured many shops and roasters around the country. I competed in the MRBC this year as a first time competitor and just missed the finals by about ten points. I was very pleased with this considering the prep time and support I had.

I also work as the head barista at the Little Bird Bakeshop. Amazing traditional French Baked goods, a great espresso program, and french pressed microlots.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I am studying Latin American Studies at Colorado State University and would love working as a green buyer with countries in Latin America and working toward bettering the lives of coffee farmers.
About Me:
well I like coffee. and I ride mountain bikes when its warmer out. all that with school keeps me pretty busy
About My Company:
I run a consulting and contracted training company. Its pretty self explanatory. I get hired to train people and answer questions. Its lots of fun.

I also am the head barista at the Little Bird Bakeshop
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
the diversity and level of fluidity as far as opinions and brewing methods are concerned

Hi there.
Our shop is small is size and big in coffee. Our equipment and brewing methods have always been right with the curve. I have recently started looking backwards towards HX machines, manual grinders (not timed) FP coffee and cone filter. I have a separate Roaster and have upwards of 20 wholesale accounts. we are coffee leaders in our community and are looking for the right people to work. The pay is relative to your abilities and what you put in to the job. the pay scale is between $10- 18 per hour. the high end pay is for mgt and senior barista. All full time employees are covered by a Health care plan.
Thanks for your interest,
Sam
