How did you figure out how much china you'd need at your shop? Do you do all paper products or do you use some china to serve on?

Ok, Laurie, now for the nosy questions. How many customers do you average in a day? Are you in the black yet? If you are how long did it take you to get there? What is your average ticket? What are your annual net profits?

Thanks

What did you mean by you had some of your equipment from the previous business? A previous business of yours or the business that was in the location you're at? Do you have any pictures of your place where I could see them?

That is some great information. Yea I'm trying to think of everything I can. Can I ask how big your shop is? Are you in a stand alone building or a strip mall? Did you get a sba loan or did you have a lot of savings that you used?

Thanks for all the advice and info?

Wow, I just realized that I totally forgot to call you and I just now realized it a week later. Man, I must have a lot on my mind. Can you tell me how many employees you have and what your monthly payroll expenses look like? What does payroll tax look like? Trying to get my business plan put together.

Thanks

Excellent. I'll try and call you between 1:30 pm and 2:00 pm either tomorrow or Friday and chit chat a little. Thanks so much for being willing to talk.

Very good Laurie. Thanks so much for being willing to talk to me. What is the best time of day to call? I don't want to call you in the middle of a busy time. I probably need to schedule a weekend to come up north and check out your shop. That kind of research is tax deductible ya know! Anyway, I'd love to chat with you about your experience. Just let me know when the best time is for you.

Thanks so much

Laurie, my name is Jon Mitchell and I'm working on plans to open a coffee bar in Conway, Ar. Would love to have a conversation with you sometime about your experiences in the business. Let me know if you're interested in helping a youngster out.

Still way too slow for my tastes. Send me your phone number & we can set up a time for a call, I have way too much to say over email.
