Seattle, WA. USA
How many years have you been in the industry?
6
If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
yes
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
Now working at Trabant Coffee and Chai in Seattle. Slingin' the People's Crack and makin' it look pretty in Pioneer Square.

I'm building upon a history with coffee, especially it's harvesting and it's many many preparations. Currently developing my Clover technique and improving evermore on my foundations as a consistently proficient barista and coffee snob. :)
I'm also available for hire if you'd like someone who's affordable and professional with chalkboard art/promotions and even some digital design stuff.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Europe, especially the Netherlands; Japan (日本語を少し話します); Taiwan; Australia; Hawaii; East Coast USA, like NY, DC, and Boston; Mid-USA, Chicago area especially; and maybe some Central and South American countries like Brazil, and Guatemala.
About Me:
Currently I live in Seattle, am 28 years old, a graduate from Cornish College of the Arts here back in '05 and I occasionally do some freelance work utilizing those talents; chalkboards and digital output is where I find my talents most useful as far as the coffee industry goes, but my love is human portraiture and figurative work. Check some of my stuff out here!

and my personal website DrakeCreations.com - still under construction...

I also play upright and electric bass as a hobby and sometimes with a band, skateboard, play video games and poker, eat awesome food, and hang out with awesome people.
About My Company:
Trabant Coffee and Chai is located in Seattle, WA. Currently there are two operating shops; the original is in the University District serving up the goods, and the newest addition is in Seattle's historic Pioneer Square. You'll most likely find me in the new location, Monday - Thursday.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
all the great people who comprise this enormous community!

So your just easing me eh? 80) seriously though can line art really be done? That would be so cool if we could learn how to do the knot on our logo. It's a double trinity that goes from inner to out loop as it travels around the triangle knot. I'll post the logo when our trademark has been filed.
