About My Company:
Avanti Caffe (Pty) Ltd has 9yrs experience in the industry having founded by Mr. John Frater, a passionate man of coffee and started in Burundi before moving to South Africa.
We have different blends in the company ranging from the Espresso (Columbia, Guatemala and Costa Rica) and Supremo (Brazil).
Apart from Coffee, we deal in Rancillio espresso machines and grinders where we sell and service for our customers.
I am their National Training Manager with a team of three other professionals.
Avanti's main business is in the Hotels and Restaurants where we supply both Espresso and filter coffee blends, train their baristas and give other support service to these customers.
It is a great company in deed.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The changing trand in consumer awareness through the national barista championships and the WBC. Also the fact that different bodies have come up to make sure that the farmer benefits from the whole chain especially in my country of birth - Kenya.
