Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I don't have any certifications (outside of starbucks certification), but i have worked in two privately owned shops and three starbucks coffees since graduating high school I'm pretty good with a steam wand, and if i got back into it, i could get into the swing of using a commercial grade manual espresso machine. But at the moment i would call myself a novice.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Guatamala, Italy, Denmark, Spain, Tanzania. Pretty much anywhere i can learn something about this industry from.
About Me:
Well, I'm 22, and I am a pretty big coffee enthusiast. Love coffee, tea, coffee shops, live music, art, conversations, and pretty much everything that encompasses the "coffee house way of life." Currently i live in Boulder, CO, but in the next two years i plan on moving to Los Angeles first, then Portland, Oregan afterwards. I want to attend the Coffee Shop School there. I just need to get a lot figured out before hand. And i need to get a barista job in LA as soon as i get there.

I've wanted to own my own since high school. My best friend's dad owned the local coffee house in a boring small town, so i spent day in, day out there. Now, Seven years later, Me and that friend are planning to open our own. We're in the beginning stages of figuring out what we need/want to do...but hope to open by 2014. Not sure where yet, or what the future has in store for us, but we are both very passionate about it, and with the proper training, information, and thought processes, we know that we can do this.
About My Company:
I have no company at the moment. But i will.......
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The People. From the customers to the baristas to the local artistis sharing their work with the general public. In a broad scheme, I'd like to know Roasters, Farmers, and as many people involved with the industry as possible.
