If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
maybe
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Anywhere.
About Me:
I've been a barista off-and-on for nearly 6 years, got my MS degree in Agricultural Economics while studying boutique coffee markets, and got an amazing opportunity to do a case study on Selva Negra Coffee Estate in Nicaragua. I'm currently in Birmingham.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
Introducing people to the joys of pure coffee. Convincing a friend or customer to try their first cappuccino, espresso, etc, and seeing the surprise on their face when they actually like something they had always avoided makes me smile every time. I also like to trick my extra-shot-of-caramel-in-my-skinny-decaf-caramel-macchiato friends into taking a sip of espresso and watching their palates freak out. Heh.
I was in last weekend for a wedding. I dropped in Friday morning. Should have given you a heads up, but I didn't know what my schedule was going to be like.
