If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
maybe
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
My husband and I run a coffee bar in the Uptown District of Port Townsend. We have a Synesso and use Vivace out of Capitol Hill, Seattle. We use only Organic Valley products in all espresso drinks. We also make from scratch 1 baked item a day. We thrive on serving every customer a premium espresso drink. We have never had to advertise. Being in such a small town far from the maddening crowd, the locals are starving for anything of quality consistently.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
We work almost every day. We haven't really had the time to get away, but would love to get to the two Portlands...Maine and Oregon.
About Me:
I, Susan, was born and bred in small town Indiana. Went to college in Bloomington, and then on to Europe for a while. Settled in NYC for about 10 years (did music while in Europe and East Coast). Came to Seattle about 17 years ago and fell in love with the smooth, velvet espresso drinks that I found especially in Capitol Hill.
About My Company:
1012 Coffee Bar is a small, intimate but outrageously entertaining espresso experience. It's like a coffee bar version of "Cheers". We have been running almost 5 years. The only downside is that I hate to close shop, so we rarely get away.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
Hi Susan! As one of the sponsors here - welcome to bX! Port Townsend is a cool little town! If you need passes for the Seattle Coffee Fest - let me know.
