If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
maybe

I was recruited to work in the new Hardbacks Cafe here in Farmington. It's a pretty swank place, if i do say so myself. We run 2 Franke Evo's and roast Dillano Beans. Awesome blends. Full range of flavors, different bodies, but verall awesome product. But the machines are what makes it. I'm rather new to the world of the Barista, but i've always loved my java. I'm very much looking for guidance. I started out with minimal knowledge on Barista skills, so i'm open to any tips, stories and advice from anyone looking to make a lasting impact in a young Barista's career. Thanks.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I'm in the U.s. NAVY, so i'll be traveling all over. My biggest interests, however, have always ben South America and Turkey. I've been getting back to my Turkish roots and have been aching to go to Ankara. Other places i'd like to go outside of the country would be like; Poland, Afghanistan, Sweden and maybe Ireland. But for the most part, i just want to get out there and experience the world...and it's coffee. :)
About Me:
Hello. My name is Justin Klemish. Most people around the cafe just call me "Slipshot". I'm a rather new Barista and am loving every minute of it so far. Of all the other professions i've had, this is by far the most enjoyable.
I'm currently in the U.s. NAVY. I'm hoping with that comes the opportunity to travel around the globe, see the beauty our world has to offer, learn as much as i can, experience all that is available, and drink some kick ass coffee while i travel.
I'm a full time college student at San Juan College here in Farmington. It's difficult trying to hold down two jobs and maintain an 18 credit hour schedule. But i love what i do so it's never too hard.
I'm a Film/Theater major so i have plenty of random crap to talk about. I'm planning on teaching when i get out of the NAVY....maybe even try to open up a cafe or somethin :)
My family is everything to me.
Anna is the love of my life. I'm going to miss her when i leave. But not to worry. I'll be back for her in a few years. <3
Overall, i'm excited to be a Barista. I'm looking forward to being a part of the Barista Exchange realm and making new friends. Peace.
