If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
yes
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
Formerly the business manager of a roasting company, I'm all about the sample roasting and cupping and the green coffee and the origin exploration. Now, I'm getting my feet wet behind the counter, learning the skills of the barista at a sweet cafe in Portland, OR.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Anywhere that coffee is grown, particularly Central America. In Europe, mostly Italy or France.
About Me:
I like sauerkraut, but never before cupping.
About My Company:
Just began training at Blend Coffeehouse in North Portland, Oregon, A place that will whip me into shape as a skilled barista in no time. I get to work with seasoned espresso trainers and brew the Stumptown coffees by the cup in a pour-over bar. It's all very exciting.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
Yeah, there's still plenty of snow up on the passes. I don't really know how I scored the beemer, but it keeps me smiling, although the wind out here makes me understand why everyone else rides a fully dressed harley. My dad just swung through here on a 10,000 mi. road trip riding a Strom, those SV's are great engines. If you do it again, follow the eastern end of the wind river range and come over to laramie, I'll buy you a cup of coffee. Cheers!
