If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
yes
Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I have full bar training including latte art as well as an understanding and appreciation for all that goes into a good cup of coffee from cherry to cup. I'm also fairly knowledgeable of teas and herbal teas.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
France, Africa, West Coast USA
About Me:
I'm a gemini. I like picnics.
About My Company:
I'm currently working at Spruce Street Espresso on 11th and Spruce in Philadelphia. We're a counter culture shop and we switch between the tuscano and aficionado blends. It's a small corner shop with a unique pace and feel that allows us to do things our own way, like all french pressed coffees and a brew bar.
Hopefully by the end of this month the (personally) long awaited Ultimo Coffee will be opening at 15th and Mifflin here in Philadelphia. Check it out and keep up on the progress http://ultimocoffee.wordpress.com/ This should be truly awesome.
Previously employed at Murky Coffee in Washington DC/Arlington VA where I received my bar training under Aaron Ultimo (great guy). It was a real pleasure and privilege to work in such a fine shop. We brewed Counter Culture coffee and for our espresso we used their tuscano blend. If you're ever in the Arlington area shop (just off the Clarendon stop on the Orange line) order a 'coffee maker'.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
When somebody says, "That's beautiful" in reference to their drink.
Hey man, don't know if you remember me. I visited your shop in October with my family. I'm going to be up there within the next few weeks to grab a cheese steak and some spro.
