I am the Roast Master (not Master Roaster though) for Topeca Coffee, I've been roasting for a year, and was a barista before that. Coffee is life and espresso is my blood.
About My Company:
Topeca coffee is a (if not the only) seed to cup company, the plantation that we get our coffee from is located in El Salvador on the Santa Ana volcano, it has been in my bosses wife's family for about a hundred and fifty years. We roast the coffee here in Tulsa Oklahoma, and sell it to coffee shops and offices, we also have a cafe so quality can be assured and controlled from the seed to the edge of the cup.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
of course we will hand-tamp!! :) can't wait...plans are going alright, i need to get my act together and visit a bank...oh, i just booked a flight to and hostel in rome, so before it all starts i'll get to taste some real italian espresso!! hooray! i'll keep you updated on the shop. have a good afternoon!
