Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I started out at Starbucks where I lasted a whole, impressive three months and learned a lot of what not to do. After that I worked at two different local coffee shops, learned how not only work a semi-auto espresso machine but rock it as well as a 20oz extra dry skim cappuccino and ristretto shots, to list a few. Being a barista isn't just a job, it's my life and my passion, and I'd love to go back to it.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Anywhere else in Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, possibly Washington and Montana.
About Me:
I'm Rachael. I'm too multi-faceted for this box. I enjoy knitting, the color pink, and cleaning out my fingernails.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
This struck me so I want to share. Would you consider being unreasonable? great! So, I request you go back to your former employer and let him know you acknowledge the breakdown and that you were fully responsible. Let him know you understood his position.
Share with him you loved your work there and you know he knows you were a trustworthy employee. Ask if he would consider putting you back on the payroll. This would be unreasonable. Up for it?
