If you are a barista or shop, are you interested in a barista exchange with another coffee shop/barista?
yes
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Seattle, Portland, Vancouver, Olympia, New York, Italy, Spain, Norway, Rwanda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Brazil... or, you know, anywhere.
About Me:
currently living the bohemian barista lifestyle. Worked at Black Sheep Coffee Cafe in South St. Paul for over a year learning and experimenting with espresso mostly and working part time in the kitchen baking up some pretty amazing bakery items. Then, In Sept. of '08 moved to New York after receiving a job as barista for Gimme! Coffee in Manhattan. After 3 months I'm back in the twin cities looking for another shop to challenge me and help me continue to grow. My passions lie in coffee, food, beer, wine and all things fine and divine.
About My Company:
Barista orphan seeks shop to call home.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
The community that surrounds it. The people I've met and the relationships I've built.
Yeah. I work for the Purple Onion's sister store Espresso Expose as a barista and trainer. Awesome place to work, and great people, but I really feel like I've hit a ceiling there and it's kind of been getting me down lately. I basically taught myself everything that I know about coffee It just seems like no one really has the passion for making quality espresso on a consistent basis there.

I've heard some amazing things about your shop, so I suppose I'll have to stop in sometime.
