Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I've owned my coffee shop in Chicago for 12 years. Here we treat our employees like family. I'm not the kind of owner who sits back and lets his employees do all the work--I like to take a hand's on approach to running a business, and that includes making the coffee!
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
Paris! I can't believe I've never been.
About Me:
I've been in the coffee industry for about 20 years--really the majority of my adult life. I grew up in Wisconsin and moved to the "big city" (Chicago) about 25 years ago. I love working with coffee--I love the people, the clientele, and trying new things. On the weekends I like to ride my fixed gear and go climbing.
