Tell us more about your coffee shop or barista skills.
I am a Barista at Caffé Fantastico in Victoria, BC. It is my third job in the industry, and certainly the best. Caffé Fantastico is a micro-roastery which started as an espresso cart 15 years ago, and one of the many destinations for excellent coffe in Victoria.
What cities or countries are you interested in traveling to?
I am interested by all areas where coffee is produced; Ethiopia particularly catches my interest, however.
About Me:
I am 22, and passionate about Coffee in all it's forms. I believe the life of a barista is constantly challenging, and that there will always be more to learn. I strive to produce the best possible product, while always looking for new opportunities to continue my coffee education.
I am an avid video gamer, focused mostly on console and mobile games. I read a lot, mostly fiction (though I enjoy non-fiction as well). More recently I've found myself playing the Ukulele, or riding my bicycle through town.
What is your favorite thing about the coffee industry?
Enjoying a well prepared cup of coffee.
