I've been in the industry now for 5 years. I was trained by a indy coffee shop owner in my home town who was trained by Heather Perry Klatch Coffee. I then moved to England for 3 years where i was a barista and assistant manager at Gatehouse Coffee. I was in charge of training new employees and maintaining the stock.
